Crete-Monee Grad Laquon Treadwell Selected By Vikings At No. 23

With the No. 23 pick, the Minnesota Vikings selected Ole Miss WR Laquon Treadwell. 

To add onto his successful three-year career at Ole Miss, Treadwell helped lead the Crete-Monee Warriors to a 6A state title in 2012. He is considered the best Chicago-area prospect in this year's draft.

Bears Select Leonard Floyd At No. 9

The Chicago Bears moved up two spots in the first round to select Leonard Floyd, an OLB from Georgia, with the ninth pick.

Chicago traded their 11th overall pick and a fourth-rounder to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in exchange for the ninth selection.
